Good news, they came promptly. Bad news, one of the bulbs was broken. , I bought myself two of these so I have a bit more experience than one-offs. If you are in immediate gratification, are forgotten. These lamps for over an hour to warm up any lava (more like a big blob get) action. I tried the 25-watt bulb with a 40 watt bulb (not recommended by the manufacturer) to replace. Well, it has quickly warm to very much, but the lamp is extremely hot – I went back in the 25-watt light bulb. The lava flowis just a big blob that drives the top, it will remain for many minutes (5-10) and blobs back to the ground. Not much going flows. Oh, what am I for $ 14 would have ever expected. It has to be a better product out there. Oh, and the liquid "Merky." Perhaps it is to be so for better light refraction. The add says Red / Clear. It should say: Red / Merky.

The lava is not as bright as it is in the pictures and it takes about and hour and a half to two hours actually warm enough to work properly. Overall, disappointing.

These lamps are very cool. I ordered several more as Christmas gifts for all types of people. Just one thing though, you open the box and ensure that it works before you pack it. This particular lamp works well, but I think they can escape some kind of gas in that base. Of the six I ordered online, it was one that did not work. However, they are great and unusual gifts to give or receive.

When to start looking for a cute (animal) night light for my babies room, I had no idea it would be such a challenge. I was not interested in the night lighting, hanging wall, which was most of what seems to be out there. Thank God, I have this turtle light. It provides just enough to see a golden light, but not overpower the room. This was a great find, and I could not be happier.

The lava lamp was exactly what my grandson wanted for Christmas. The lamp was delivered to me and I reach it from the shipping carton and never allowed the weight of the lamp at the bottom of the cylindrical container. However, if the present was opened, and then carried across the room, the lamp fell from the bottom of the vessel and broke into a million pieces on my tile floor. Needless to say, my grandson was very disappointed because I was the lamp that was my grandsonwanted, so I ordered a still and let him to his address. This time, caution was taken when he opened the box and the lamp remained intact.

I have bought it as a gift for my friend and the light bulb does not work, so we had to buy a new one. But once we got it working, it works quite well. For some reason, the liquid doesn't 'seem to move around as much as most of the lava lamps that stuff kind of sits at the top. But this could also be due to the different light I'd be buying.

I can not say I was not warned – after reading the reviews. But I have lava lamps after year, and had never owned a bum book. Unfortunately, this is a great come-cloudy and overcast. Once it so it is almost impossible to correct them. Very disappointing! Lava Lite should work on this problem, the lamps were not used, the more prone to these.
